2020 is the tenth year for Xu Yihong to come to the ecological environment bureau of Shicheng County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. In 2017, she served as the head of the natural and ecological protection unit. Due to staffing and personnel reasons, she was responsible for all the work of the ecological protection unit in three years. In recent years, the pressure of delimiting the red line of ecological protection, the special action of "Green Shield" Nature Reserve supervision and inspection, rural domestic sewage treatment, ecological construction and other work is increasing day by day. During the period of promoting the rectification of the problems in the "Green Shield" Nature Reserve, Xu Yihong carried out a comprehensive investigation of various problems since the establishment of the Ganjiangyuan Nature Reserve in accordance with the requirements of the "Green Shield" Nature Reserve special action. After the investigation of the nature reserve, Xu Yihong immediately formulated the rectification plan for the problems of "Green Shield" Ganjiangyuan nature reserve according to the feedback problems, and clarified the work objectives, work contents, division of responsibilities, time arrangement and work requirements. According to the responsible unit of problem rectification, she timely grasped the progress of rectification, and reported the progress and existing problems of rectification to the main leaders of the Bureau and the leaders in charge of the county government, so as to provide a strong guarantee for promoting the rectification work.

At the same time, Xu Yihong also formulated the special supervision system of "Green Shield" action, which, together with the county inspector general's office, regularly inspected the rectification of problems, followed up and asked the effect. The two children who were still in kindergarten often couldn't see their mother. Although they didn't go on a business trip, they were so busy that they could only contact the children through video phone.

Xu Yihong strongly promoted rural sewage treatment as a cause for people's happiness, and actively fought for the special subsidy fund for the comprehensive improvement of the rural environment, totaling 47.72 million yuan. Although the land involved in rural sewage treatment covers a small area, it is easy to cross the red line and occupy the basic farmland because it is built in rural areas. Xu Yihong organized design units, natural resources departments at county and township levels, and rural cadres to participate in the whole process of site selection. On the basis of not occupying basic farmland, the site selection was scientific and reasonable.
